Twelve-year-old twins Peter and Mikael, along with their best friend Filip, are concluding an exceptional summer vacation with a final celebratory event. They have decided to end it in style, as they put it.

Their plans proceed smoothly until Peter and Filip awaken one morning to find Mikael's sleeping bag empty. Peter is faced with the alarming disappearance of his twin brother.

A decade later, Peter receives a letter from Mikael, raising numerous questions. Is Mikael alive? If he is, where has he been all these years? The search for Mikael begins once again at the enigmatic rock formation where they camped ten years ago.

The question is whether Peter and Filip will ever successfully locate Mikael. Additionally, it is questioned whether they will be able to return themselves.
