The reason it's described as so unlikely is because it's not really a sequel to the very famous book series, but rather it's about the time before the epic adventure the main characters get to experience. Way before.

I have a friend called the Engineer. I don't know his name, and I've never bothered to ask. One day, when I find a strange little wooden tablet with unclear text on it that I need help to deciphering, the Engineer is my first choice.

When he can't decipher it, he takes me to a strange man who mostly hangs out down in the park. He goes by the name of Jesus.

Stefan Holtz, a detective inspector at the Stockholm Police, and his colleague, detective assistant Sebastian Svensson, are tearing their hair out in pursuit of a perpetrator who is in the process of committing a crime that is seemingly a direct copy of Dan Blanc's ongoing novel.

A collection of over ten wildly crazy short stories. The title of the main story alone hints at its sheer madness.

While some stories may not lend themselves to being told as novels, it remains essential that they are documented and communicated. In this book, I have curated these narratives in the form of short stories. Some are more extensive and profound, while others are briefer and less complex. Regardless of their length or depth, these are tales that merit attention.

Some stories involve a battle against evil, while others aim to amuse you with wit, illogical events, and thought-provoking ideas. For instance, there is the brief tale of The Pine Cannon.

Another notable story, which diverges from conventional logic, is the short story "Utlandsresan". In this narrative, two friends decide to go on a holiday abroad. However, the method by which they reach their destination is unclear.

The title story, "The Woman Who Bought Yarn to Crochet a Child," poses an intriguing question: What is her true intention behind crocheting a child?
